home in the making part 2

As promise, here is an update on my new house call home.. ewah..

Long last, I manage to get things moving soon after my electricity meter in place. Man! things really move really fast last week as most of my furniture was bought last year like my sofa set was in the Home Design since August 07!!

So, last week by pulling the string from office (as my onshore supreintendant begged me not to go on leave as our elite team all either in Labuan or Offshore..) and with the vital help from my beloved wife who was on leave,, we managed to move in last Friday 040408.

A pick trough of my living room. I had a little grin when ever i look at my living room.. not to say I'm mintak puji, but I can tell myself, I have achieve something to get to this stage..

Thank You God..

That's my TV. Can't wait to watch the upcoming Champion's League on that 37" screen.. *grin*

Hey, check out my lamp post from Bali. *grin some more*

And a self proclaimed masterpiece, my 5 x 12' blader c/w a frosted bowl glass dimmer light equipped with 2 piece 40watt FAN.

* GRIN alot more*

Behind the veil.

However my kitchen not up to the posting par yet. so we'll see about that..

Latest development of my humble loft...

home in the making

Actually bought the house in November 06. The first two photos was taken on 25.03.07. The final photo taken on the 19.05.07.
The latest development ? Still doing some finishing. I reckon they'll finish up by April.
A valuable lesson learnt purchasing a so called low cost house is go for the show houses.

See equation below:

low cost housing = cheap houses
:. low = cheap

low cost = cheap labour + cheap material = low quality

low quality = save cost

:. developer $$.

But most of the show houses definately using the skillled labour & high end materials.

p/s photo taken using my ASUS P535. I'll follow up with the progress hopefully by this week. adios.
